French Property Connect

If you’re looking for a lovely property in the region of Poitou-Charentes region of France then hopefully you will have seen my photographs, lovingly updated onto this real estate companies website and Google Map. With upwards of a one hundred properties, each with 12 images per listing, I regular update this website with the latest listings, enabling business owner Emma to sell properties. The Google map, created and updated by me, has been visited by over 28,000 visitors!

Arte Marbella

For Marbella’s fastest growing cultural event, a major attraction for visitors and residents alike, I keep the website updates with the artists images, upload English and Spanish biographies, and update the press releases. As with all my projects, its a brilliant way to learn about a particular subject, in this case art in southern Spain, and I think I’m becoming an expert! What’s brilliant is I go out to the art festival each year and meet all the artists and performers.

The Women in Business website – WIBS -  features member’s latest news in a rotating panel, plus and events diary which shows upcoming events and activities, plus has the ability for readers to add the event to their their own diaries such as Outlook Express. Like many organisations WIBS wanted to project a professional business image without breaking the bank on their website. WordPress provides them with a superb platform for building and developing site, organisation and networking activities. As funds become available they have plans to develop this site further on the platform WordPress provides them.

French Property Connect are the specialists in buying and selling property in the Region of Poitou-Charentes, West France. They can guide you through the complete property pre-and post-purchase process to help you find your dream home. We’ve just completed a new WordPress oriented website, customising StudioPress’ ‘Agents Theme’.

Our specialist programmers built the site to our customised design and specifications and the site features an animated Tag Cloud, Le Blog! – blog posts on everything about the region, an affiliate foreign currency exchange calculator, and access to a Google Map featuring all of FPC’s properties, plus lots of bespoke graphics.

There’s quite a publishing and production job with each property listing featuring approximately 14 images plus editorial content. Kerry has become an absolute whiz in publishing on WordPress and creating great images in Adobe Photoshop. We will continue to maintain and manage the site for owners Emma and Ludo, so they can focus on doing what they do best, helping their customers buy and sell the best property in Poitou-Charentes, France.

Launched in August 2010, BigBlackpool is the online directory and eZine for small businesses with big ideas in Blackpool and The Fylde. The aim is not only an online directory, but  to provide lots of useful information, details of events and ‘stuff’, and interviews on people who have successfully been running their businesses here in this unique town, or have a good association with it, as well as some fun anecdotes on local people.

Julia Hart is passionate about skincare and teaching people how to achieve and maintain youthful and healthy skin. After the launch of her online skincare shop last year she started to maintain a basic blog, but it soon became apparent this girl needed a more substantial method to upload her information and advice on skincare, plus to act as a driver to her online shop and products. 

We customised and designed a Wordpress theme, applying Julia’s brand (which we also designed) and linking the site to her existing online skincare shop.

The Green Familia, a superb ‘light green shopping blog’, is packed with articles and information on living a greener lifestyle. TGF showcases the best green and organic products available on the market and teaches potential new greenies (like us) how to make better green lifestyle choices.

We’ve packed in as many features we could think of including: ad buttons to monetize the blog (along with Google ad code), links to Facebook and Twitter, readers ratings, a poll feature, tabular widgets maximising the site’s key reading areas, animated tag clouds, video reviews, plus lots of bespoke graphics. Following the resounding success of the 1st Festival International Art Festival in Marbella (FIAM), showcasing the work of more than 100 artists to 20,000 visitors, we were asked to design/build and manage a new website for FIAM, within a limited budget, for the 2nd Festival Internacional de Arte Marbella (FIAM). The festival, which features galleries, artists, photographers, sculptors, ceramicists and digital artists show their work in a dynamic street festival in Marbella. As well as artists there is a full programme of high calibre performances of music and dance.

We’re just about to embark on the next stage of developing this website for the 3rd FIAM, watch this space!
